What Video Creater do you guys use?

oaky guys....im awesome when it comes to videos and such....how/where do you actually get videos and clips....cause i hvae no clue where to get anything

 

depends on what your looking for, if it's a game or movie, try looking for a fansite with clip downloads, or just search for download links on youtube or google.

 

on topic, i seem to be then only one to use Corel VideoStudio Pro X2

If it's on DVD and you have it, you can rip it yourself with a DVD Ripper. Or download the movie/show from a torrent.

If it's a game or whatever, download from a site or, if you have the money, use a Capture card and record the scenes yourself. If you have the game that is.

 

Google's a great place to start.

If you're looking for anime episodes, Animea has a lot. (but good luck looking for licensed ones )

 

For other things, torrents and Google are your friends. So are DVD rippers. And if you're really desperate, just get scenes off of YouTube (you'll need a video converter though).

I would but for some reason they didn't release a basic one. They just used Sony Vegas 9 HD instead.

Windows movie maker is good for basic editing.

 

Imovie is better if you have a MAC.

 

If you want to do fancy stuff you will have to buy one of the professional programs and that can cost as much as an Ipad.

 

I agree with this. I've not ever wanted to make videos due to the cost. I use Windows Movie Maker, because it's free.

There are pirated copies of Sony Vegas and Adobe Premier and such all over the place. I didn't buy MY Sony Vegas (Pro 8.0), and it works fine. Although I don't have the link for the download anymore... [sob]

 

But I used WMM for a good couple years, and it works just great in the right hands.

Sony Vegas Pro 9 HD and Adobe Premiere. =)) I just feel like WMM still lacks a few elements, even if it's for Vista.
