KHUX [UPDATE] Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] first of two-part finale global update officially stated to be available tonight

The North American PR Twitter account for Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] has tweeted that the first update of the two-part finale will be going live for the global version tonight at midnight PT. (3:00 AM EDT)

This is exceedingly odd, seeing that the Japanese PR Twitter account for Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] has stated that their update will be available on April 30th. There is always a chance that either or both accounts could have accidentally posted erroneous information. Still, we will be finding out if this statement from the global account is true later tonight.

UPDATE: (04/29/2021) The announcement tweet from the English PR account seems to have been posted a day early. The story update should be tomorrow (April 30th) at 15:00 JT for Japan and at midnight PT for Global!.

UPDATE (04/30/2021): Quest 978 "What Comes After" has been updated on both JP and Global! The quest only contains story cutscenes and doesn't have a mission attracted to it. The quest is also available on Proud Mode.

The NA account did tweet the night before unless that was some miscommunication and they made a mistake to set it for tonight and mention it'll come the next day.

Story updates are always at midnight PT.

If the JP tweet would have said 4/29 at 15:00, then there wouldn't be any confusion

The confusion here is if the dates are accurate on both tweets, then Global will have the update 23 hours before Japan instead of an hour difference like normal with Japan having their update and then we get ours

It'd be odd for them to tweet it on a Wednesday if it wasn't for the next day, so it's a huge if.

I mean that it was odd for the JP tweet to list Friday's date.

I assume this was posted by someone on the jp team and they got their timezones messed up or something or maybe someone on the pr team was just told to post this but man what a bummer. Soon it'll be out if anything is means we'll also get it around the same time maybe an hour later
