Sora? Ven? Riku? Terra? Keyblade? I'm confused

Okay with all the info about Sora's Keyblade I'm confused as to exactly HOW he got it and WHO he got it from. Lets look at the facts,

 

1. Terra performed the Keyblade Inheritance Ceremony with Riku,

2. Since it couldn't find Riku, the Keyblade went to Sora.

3. Sora could use the Keyblade because he has Ven's heart in him.

4 When Riku turned to darkness the Keyblade chose Sora, but why would it if it had already accepted Riku 10 years earlier? Remember Keblade don't always choose good people because MX, had his own.

5. It has been said that Sora could use the Synch Blade ability because he was using Ven's and his own Keblade.

6. If Sora's Keyblade was originally Terra's why is its true form Kingdom Key and not Earthshaker.

 

Someone, please help me make sense of all this.

Well, Sora got his keyblade when Riku had givin in to the darkness in Destiny Islands. And thanks to Ventus's heart being inside Sora, the keyblade choose Sora and allowed him to weild the Keyblade. True, terra did perform the Keyblade Inheritance to Riku 10 years ago back when Riku was 5, but the only reason he was able to touch it was because the keyblade accepted him as a keyblade master and that his heart was pure and wasn't orrupted by darkness. And you're right, it was true that since Ven's heart was in Sora he could weild the Synch keyblade, but he can now also dual-weild and possibly even weild three keyblades thanks to Roxas as well. Remember, thoise who submit to darkness, are not qualified to weild the keyblade.

What about Master Xehanort he was obsessed with darkness and its not like he was a special case like Vanitas and there were plenty of evil Keybaders in the Keybade War let's not forget.

That's because his Keyblade made from darkness itself, kinda like the one Riku-Ansem was weilding. the one that Master Xehanort was holding could only unlock hearts. This goes for the "evil keyblade masters" as well.

Uh Keyblades, go to those with strong hearts, no preference is created in darkness or light, have you not playied Birth by sleep? the key blade wars start from the collision of Dark wielders and Light wielders, Sora's heart is just stronger, he felt doubt witch is why he lost his weapon for a while but in the end Riku got his own.

I think this is how it went.The only reason how Sora got a keyblade is because after Master X made Ven's heart half Ventus was in his awakening and that is when Sora connected his heart with Ven and in the begining of Kh 1 Riku wanted Sora to have the Keyblade instead of himself having it and that's when all the rest of the stuff happens.So that's my theory.

See, this is where you and I differ...

 

Birth By Sleep was pushing the thin line between light and darkness so hard it would take a whore long abused not to feel it. (lol)

 

Take Eraques for example, completely and devoutly towards the light, so far towards it, he was going to kill someone he loved (Ventus), because he began to see him as a threat, and then when Terra stepped in, He tried killing him too, because he was to close to the darkness! He thought of him as a son! That is a very dark thing to do.

 

Take Terra for example, he is succumbing to his hate and anger, and using it to fuel his power, so he can save his friends.

 

The Keyblade chooses those with a strong heart, not based on light or darkness.

 

And The reason MX could unlock people's hearts is because he is a keyblade master.

 

The keyblade of people's hearts was special in the way that you didn't need to be a master to unlock the hearts.

It's called the Rite of Succession because it doesn't pass down a Keyblade or guarantee one It just gives the successor the ability to wield and acts as a letter of recommendation towards getting their own Keyblade.

Well... I guess you could say that. Remember the darkness that was surrounding Riku and Sora right before he disappeared from the islands? That was Riku's darkness, and the light following was Riku's light. Sora touched that light, and in doing so, the Kingdom Key, originally meant for Riku, went to Sora temporarily.

 

3. Sora could use the Keyblade because he has Ven's heart in him.

It doesn't have anything to do with Ven. See answer #2.

It didn't have anything to do with the darkness. Keyblades are indifferent to light and darkness. As long as you have a strong heart, everything else is irrelevant. Sora proved his heart to be stronger than Riku's in Hollow Bastion, and the Kingdom Key chose him over it's intended wielder.

 

5. It has been said that Sora could use the Synch Blade ability because he was using Ven's and his own Keblade.

Essentially. Roxas awakened the dual wielding ability and Ven's Keyblade when Xion died, so once he merged back with Sora, he passed on that ability to him.

 

6. If Sora's Keyblade was originally Terra's why is its true form Kingdom Key and not Earthshaker.

Because it's not. That's why it's called the Rite of Succession, not the Keyblade Inheritance Ceremony. Besides, Terra's Keyblade is with the Lingering Sentiment.

I know, but calling it that is better imo since the supposed "Keyblade Inheritance Ceremony" leads to a ton of confusion. Like people saying Kairi has Aqua's Keyblade, Ven having Xehanort's Keyblade, and whatever else you find on the internet :

I really don't know because in KH1 it said riku was supposed to get it but he turned to darkness while sora was light so he was able to get. Which is how Riku stole it later on..(right) And why wouldn't sora have been spposed to have one anyways? I mean he and ven are together....and ven is a keyblade wielder

Vens heart in Sora did NOT give him a keyblade. There was no Inheritance Ceremony so he didn't get a keyblade. Ven's heart just ALLOWED him to use Riku's keyblade. And Terra, Ventus, Aqua, and MX's keyblades are all forged from there heart not passed down. Similar to Riku's current Keyblade. Sora's took the form of the KK instead if Earthshatterer because it was HIS heart.

Can someone tell me about the xblade I heard in kh3

the X-blade is said to be even powerful then the ultamite weapon keyblade; however when Master Xehanort tried to succeed in it, it resulted as Vanitus and Ventus' keyblades being forged together but not entirely. All for one reason...Vanitus and Ventus were not together (Like Roxas and Sora in KH2) therefore the keyblade only made half of the xblade. the Xblade in KH3 is probably this keyblade but was successfully forged.....(.......please don't take this seriously this is only my theory on the xblade....)..Anyways, the xblade is said two different sources (dark and light) collide together to make this weapon, but needed to have a soul worth divided then fixed (like what Master Xehanort tried to do with Ventus and Vanitus) which then will allow the keyblade wielder access to the weapons true power. Knowing this, they probably will give weapon to eithe Sora, Riku, or even Kairi....
