For some people, it's a better alternative, epseically for people that can't go to a theater or aren't ready to go to one yet.

Plus, with snacks you are probably going to spend right around that price at the theater anyway

true, and that's why i don't say it should be done away with just based on my feelings. like, it can exist, but i have my opinions

and yeah, right now it's more appealing than it would be in non-pandemic times, for sure (also, i usually bring snacks from home, lol)
