deathrebirthsenshi 279 Posted February 22, 2011 hey, at least it's not like 358/2 days. Xion: Oh, Roxas! I can't use my keyblade! Roxas: Here, you can use mine! Xion: You sure that this is ok? Roxas: Yep! I'll just use a stick instead! *goes off to fight a giant green dog with a freakin' stick!* lol he could throw the stick at the dog and play fetch! I beat him in the race once...on easy lol I was so excited! And I never fought him so I could actually say the score is 1 to 0! I never won fighting against him...I like the name Highwind though. Shadowrider 1 Posted February 22, 2011 the race AND fight were a little easy for me, but, not at first.
Lu Xun 2,069 Posted February 22, 2011 I never win it. And I don't mind it. Beating Leon was easy though
FireStorm 162 23 Posted February 23, 2011 *coughthreadissoooo2yearsagocoughcough* I could never beat the Riku fight, Leon was horribly easy, as was the Tidus, Wakka and Selphie team-up, but the Riku fight just got me, and killed me repeatedly The race was fun though, I managed to beat him the very first time I fought him, and I felt happy for that
Razorwind Keyblade 304 Posted February 23, 2011 Ok that was so easy. I mean I lost a few times but it was still easy.
DeepDive 0 Posted February 23, 2011 Took me 50 times but i won
got it memorized 3 Posted March 1, 2011 for those of you who have trouble sparring with riku, you do realize he has a pattern to at least one of his attacks, right? after reflecting a bunch of wakka's blitzballs, i just go and hack away at riku for a while in sparring to level up, and the races became really easy after a while. Razorwind Keyblade 304 Posted May 4, 2011 I don't know why people say it's so hard. It's really not.
bobo337 0 Posted May 5, 2011 The first few times i beat the game i always lost, but now its much easier!! and you can beat Leon!!!!!!!??????? WHAT!?!? I always stood there and let him beat the crap out of me !!!
Razorwind Keyblade 304 Posted May 5, 2011 The first few times i beat the game i always lost, but now its much easier!! and you can beat Leon!!!!!!!??????? WHAT!?!? I always stood there and let him beat the crap out of me !!! You can beat Leon. It's just very hard because you're on a weak level, and if you're a new comer you most likely don't have enough expirence using the Keyblade.
AnsemTheWise 1,114 Posted May 5, 2011 I HATED the race. I won the first time I tried... but never after that. Go figure. But I always enjoyed the fights. They're a nice way to get ready for the game. I just kept levelin' up and owned the Darkside!
replika13 455 Posted May 5, 2011 i always lost when i choose 1 vs 3 battle. i can win everyone in battle one on one and beat riku in race so easily...
DarkmoonTenshi 22 Posted May 5, 2011 I failed at the race every time... But when I worked hard to level up against Wakka, I could beat Riku in a fight. I accidentally fell off the island once, though.

DarkmoonTenshi 22 Posted May 6, 2011 Okay wait, you can level up before you have the Keyblade? Yeah, by fighting Tidus, Selphie, and Wakka. I'd suggest Wakka the most. If you keep a safe distance and get the timing right, you can deflect the blitzballs back at him and get experience for that.
Razorwind Keyblade 304 Posted May 6, 2011 Yeah, by fighting Tidus, Selphie, and Wakka. I'd suggest Wakka the most. If you keep a safe distance and get the timing right, you can deflect the blitzballs back at him and get experience for that. Wow I never knew that. Well what difference does it make? Sora dosen't really have any attacks at that point of the game.
deathrebirthsenshi 279 Posted May 6, 2011 Ha, I remember when I started a new game, I never fought Riku and I won the race just so I could proudly say that the score was 1 to 0! And I never raced again. lol I felt accomplished
keystrike 145 Posted May 6, 2011 I would restart the game every time to try to beat him. This is the one side of the platforming element in kh1 I despised.
yayitsdre 4 Posted May 25, 2011 AHH, I HATED THAT RACE. Well, unless I totally pwned his ass, ofcourse. Lawl, I would always keep trying it over until my score was higher.
Keyblader 325 Posted May 25, 2011 Ugh, the race was a pain at first, I've been able to do it more often now, but sometimes I epically fail. Same thing with Leon, except once I started winning against him, I never seem to loose, but there's always the chance that I will, I'm not a pro after all. Okay wait, you can level up before you have the Keyblade? And you were getting at other people for not knowing some stuff, that's pretty dumb if you ask me. And in response to you saying that it's pointless to use them to level up, it actually can be useful, if you choose the shield at the beginning, you can level up to level 9 and get guard, which is a VERY helpful ability that early in the game. SoraKH 793 Posted May 25, 2011 it was soooooooooo ******* hard
Kingdom Sora 464 Posted May 27, 2011 Ya the race was hard but what about the battle with Riku when hes been taken over by Ansem and he wants Kairis heart so Sora fights him so he will get Riku back. Oh GOD that took me a long time to beat it. Im not kidding because it was so hard that i almost hit the T.v because it was so frustrating.
Aqua7KH 5,395 Posted May 28, 2011 when i first played it when i was 4, i sucked at it but now that i got KH1 again (old one was too scracthed up) i beat him like it was nothing in the race. But the first few tries i lost but i kept restarting it. But in the fight i learned his moves and was able to beat him. hit 4 times wait untill after he jumps at you and so on. But in traverse town with the optional Leon fight i was like "aw heck no" and i just let him beat me cause there was no way i would win agenst him
hatok 6,413 Posted May 28, 2011 Yeah, levelling up gets you abilities before Goofy even teaches you about abilities BTW, you can get infinite exp by fighting Selphie, and attacking when she uses her jump attack. She'll get knocked back for 1 , then her jump rope will land on her head for another exp, but it's impossible to beat her this way, so you can do it forever.
