Véńțúş_wîņđ 2 Posted November 24, 2020 in bbs there was 1 theme and that was passing on the keyblade legacy so they would have there 7 guardians of light to eventually face xehanort 13.
Movies798 1,358 Posted November 25, 2020 Except that wooden keyblade is a fake not a real keyblade. Aqua's keyblade was real and Kairi unknowingly was able to inherited a keyblade from Aqua. There was no keyblade ceremony when Lea pick up Ven's toy keyblade. 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this
Véńțúş_wîņđ 2 Posted November 25, 2020 in kh3 when ven said "hey lea" lea freaked out that ven remembered him/him picking up his keyblade and then then fighting. So yeah that's the only logical reason.

Luna12345 1 Posted November 25, 2020 besides for a keyblade inheritance ceremony to work the person performing it has to be a keyblade master or on a level of one. and ven wasn't one anyway, so Lea only got his keyblade after his request. 1 Movies798 reacted to this
Véńțúş_wîņđ 2 Posted November 25, 2020 Ok luna12345 if what your saying is true than please explain how terra was able to give riku a keyblade. Terra was not granted the title of keyblade master at the end of the MoM in the beginning of birth by sleep.

It wouldn't surprise me if Ven was on that level. We know he was around during the Age of Fairytales and Eraqus would have deliberately held him back as far as he reasonably could. He certainly did all he could to keep Ven at the Land of Departure to prevent the formation of the X-Blade. Over the course of Birth by Sleep he gets strong enough to defeat powerful foes that Terra and Aqua have no trouble dispatching, as well as the strength of will to defeat Vanitas even at the cost of his own heart. Everyone looks down at Ven, seeing him as a tool, a potential weapon, a kid, when we see he's more an equal to Terra and Aqua than he's given credit for on screen. Terra was not granted the title of keyblade master at the end of the MoM in the beginning of birth by sleep. I meant either a keyblade master or on a level of a keyblade master. since Terra possessed suitable power to be a keyblade master according to the birth by sleep ultimania, so he was on that level. and by the way that wooden keyblade was a toy keyblade not a real one. So it doesn't count.
The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted November 26, 2020 It is an interesting theory, but Lea just turned out to be worthy because of his good heart and strong will. That was able to birth his Keyblade.

Terra was not granted the title of keyblade master at the end of the MoM in the beginning of birth by sleep. One needs to be on the power level of Master to initiate the ceremony, but consciously invoking it isn't a requirement as we saw with Aqua and Kairi. The reason Terra wasn't named a Master is because of Eraqus's prejudice against darkness (which Xehanort played on to make Terra easier to manipulate).
