16 so far reminds me of 9 a little bit

I think this game is going to be that maybe they just only showed off the super dark stuff for the trailer

especially with that town scene

I like the aesthetic too though.

World wise it's like 9 and 12

It's also nine and how they're going back to Fantasy again and crystals

I mean technically crystals never even went anywhere since they are in 14 and 15 for the most part even if 15 kind of had most of it cut but they haven't been a major Focus since 9

Technically the after years since that came after but that's not the main

Still, people often forget how much hardware limitations can influence the design of a game. Super Mario 64 is a perfect example. The only reason the levels are so big is because the N64 had a very small draw distance. It made more sense to display the level in chunks because that's all the player would ever see at a time. If you zoom out, the levels are actually WAY bigger than they appear.

There's some things that were definitely limitations of the time but due to their games being like that a lot of people have attachments to it

I mean 15 have a colorful World in a sense like that

I guess I want both that, but also not futuristic or modern. More of an old world type of setting

heres hoping 16 isnt super bloody dark all the time not that ill mind necessarily but a bit of balance would be nice

Would be nice to have a FF that can lighten up and not take itself seriously 100% of the time
