They need time to market it to generate hype. Reveal in March make sense then release around September or October make sense even November to market the the switch 2 and the games. Not pulling a Sega. Just saying muki. I'm just giving my guess that this would be the plan for Nintendo to do a reveal in March then release it in September or October/November.
