And yeah it loads quicker and runs better but I feel like that woulda happened regardless just by nature of throwing better hardware at a game that has uncapped load times and framerate :kekw:

Makes me sad that FF7R gets an entire port but KH barely even got an update and whatever it was supposed to do got no highlight or mention by the devs in any way :Sadge:

if KH 3 does get a PS5 version someday which I hope it does, it won't be a free upgrade cuz of Re:Mind
unless, you know, the upgrade for the game is free and also for the DLC if you already own it

However that works is beyond me but if I can go boot up Spider-Man and load in under 2 seconds then KH3 can absolutely load in under 10 seconds

Granted idk how much better ssd’s can really get from the ones that are already in the now current gen tho, but I think it’s just a matter of optimizing around these ssd’s is where you get the most out of them

To be fair, KH didn't really need a new port. The PS5 makes go to 60fps without any issues and the loading is faster too. FF7R on the other hand only had 30FPS on the PS4 and Pro, along with the stupid textures that wouldn't load in thanks to the console.

we have a great version of KH 3 on console (on Series X and PS5 cuz they're consistent) whereas FFVIIR really needed it

What's odd is that it's been over a year and FFVIIR is still Sony-exclusive.

There weren't even any announcements of support on other platforms coming.

Well FF7R isn't I don't think, it's possible that they weren't allowed to talk about it before the exclusivity expired
