Maybe they will add a third option in the future. Who knows?
You know male, female and nonbinary for every person who do not think of themselves as male or female. Which is actually pretty nice!

The same thing people said when they cut out Pokémon, moves, abilities, items and removed the option to switch off the experience for all Pokémon. What happened since then?
Nothing. They cut out even more features. Guess that this will perhaps be the future of Pokémon.

i get what you're saying, but it all depends on how they end up actualizing it. if they do it well, then it can be a win for everyone, but likewise, it can be a loss for everyone if it's done poorly. we'll have to see which it ends up being
