every ability does the same damage. they are just reskins

the game has one aspect that it does better than any other classic FF game though

there's no job restrictions or any restrictions regarding abilities

for example you can play a warrior with strong white mage abilities

or a ranged support with a bow and white magic spells

and the enemy encounter rate is awful

it's too high
