lines up with what they were considering what to do before this which was

1) Ezra Miller giving an interview explaining their erratic behavior & then doing limited press

2) Ezra Miller plays no part in the film’s promotion

3) They completely scrap the film

WBD even though some wanted to scrap the film could never just drop a 300$ Million budget film
Especially after just scrapping Batgirl and others for tax reasons, this is the film they need to at least succeed and get profit off of

"sorry for making you upset" is face value, probably has no real feeling behind it. same energy as if they'd said "i'm being made to apologize to make you all like me"
we need to see some action behind those words. they need to make things right with the people they've hurt, not just say "sorry". and yeah, getting treatment like they mentioned, but maybe focus on other people??

guh

Bro, I feel the exact same way. I feel for them and all that but brUH they was looking like a firetruckin terrorist at one point lol

I want this Flash movie they've been working on for like 9 goddamn years to do good to, but, like, I think it's time to maybe bring in a new DCEU Flash actor or sm.

WBD has already mentioned that after The Flash releases, that no matter what Ezra does after he would not get the role ever again
Its going to go to someone else going forward.

WBD is just in a tough spot

They really just don

At this point, the film is practically done, and with all the tax issues they really have to release it to get a profit, its not like they can rely on Aquaman to do that
Its been in development hell for years and with a $300 Million budget, it doesnt help that the main actor is this problematic, they just have to take it and figure out what to do after and just take the hit now instead of later.

Like scrapping the film would be the moral right choice, but as a company decision they really have to just release it

Not much they can do about it

There kind of firetrucked in a situation like this that they havent seen in years.

Restructuring is coming for DC Films, and I have a feeling it isn't going to be pretty.
