you can get access to all skills on all characters

except for specific shit like summoning

and yes the sphere grid is amazing

it's one of my favorite rpg skill systems ever

I am usually not a fan of "+1 magic/+1 strength" skill trees

but I vibe with this one for some reason

I'm still trying to understand it but I think once I do, I'll like it

what they basically did is

instead of having the average rpg system where you level up and get stats + learn skills

the game wants you to distribute all of this manually

instead of getting everything automatically via a level up

which is also why FFX has no levels

the cool thing about this system is that it gives you control over how you want to assign stats

later you get a sphere that allows your characters to teleport on the grid
