So basically it's a way for Governments to make money- they place tariffs on forieng traders so they have to pay more to get their goods into the country.

BUT.

Its the America people who get taxed more to compensate for the fact that forieng trade policies are skewered, and prices are gonna raise up.

Tariffs are a ponzi scheme; the government makes money from the people, and charges other countries more to get their shit in here, and essentially, the government keeps all the profits.

You two ever wonder why "hey why is this in pounds like 2x as much as American dollars" or "why is this video game in Pakistan essentially 80 American dollars when in America it's 60"?

Well, that's your government's screwing you over most likely lmao.
