Preach played all FF games after playing XIV. same for pyromancer and okaymage. all of them were originally WoW players with medium - big audiences

I would go that far and say that XIV has more influence on the entire franchise than 7 now

not being abIe to jump is such a disservice to an action game you just remove an entire way to dodge attacks and remove an entire reaIm of combos against airborne (and grounded) enemies

the dodge doesn't even have i-frames cuz that'd make the game too easy

and we need everything to be on ATB because then the game is too easy

and aIso your basic attacks onIy do chip damage

It's a great thing Rebirth does a great job of doing both. I don't disagree on the lack of a jump button but it clearly does both jobs.
