i mean, the possibility of gacha or a season/battle pass is definitely a concern, but i was more focusing on how i hate playing mobility games on mobile devices (give me a controller, lol). like, if they're saying "full-scale fighting game" then i'm expecting to be able to move at least somewhat freely

puzzle games and rhythm games tend to work fine with a mobile control scheme, or even the more turn-based* ones like ever crisis, fgo, khux, etc. (*style of turn-based, for lack of a better way of wording it)
