i had over a thousand hours in 012, so i knew the engine really well. NT was like if a fan made a game that looked like Dissidia but didn't know how to make the same physics and such

it was so off putting to me that i couldn't even get a match in during the beta

as for the story, the arcade version had one but it was expanded on in NT i think? i know there are characters that were added with scenes and stuff that weren't in arcade so

i had buddies that we would do little group round robins on the weekends so we'd always be grinding and learning new shit to try to be the best lmao
