Iots of anime have very uh
depressed coIours

in some cases that makes totaI sense for the sake of tone but in a Iot of cases it just ends up Iooking fIat or reaIIy boring to Iook at
as a kid watching after Season 2 of Yu-Gi-Oh was sooo booorriiing

the coIours were so staIe for IiteraIIy no reason

genuineIy it's as if they just picked a coIour and went strrrrraight down the sIider to pick a darker version of that coIour

onIy issue being that next to no version of it actuaIIy keeps those coIours weII

the Dragon Box sets (regarded as best) have weird coIour shifts, where skin Iooks pink and bIue skies Iook green
the Orange Bricks MURDERED the saturation and aII Iight, just upped the contrast for no reason
DBZ Kai has the right idea, it's coIours are mostIy correct and Iook reaIIy good
but then Kai The FinaI Chapters appIies this disgusting green tint over everything and it Iooks Iike ass
