I got so done with AC when I heard that they killed off the main antagonist that transcends the entire timeline in a comic

that's important to remember tbh

I tend to forget it when setting up oId experiences

NO MY CRT NEEDS TO BE IN THAT ROOM

YEAH WELL YOU KNOW WHAT?! MAYBE I'M FED UP WITH BEING DISREGARED! YOU'RE GOING TO LISTEN TO ME WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT! I REFUSE TO BE SILENT!!!

it's like people actively trying to prevent themselves to be more open for things they might like

Yeah dude same- they're completely jaded and cynical- they don't have the wonder or excitement for the medium still but thats all they know.

Either it was their childhood or it was their job 🤷🏽‍♂️ its frustrating- and they think they're the only ones with valid takes and opinions.

atleast you are motivated

I just...HNNNG GOD WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE?!? I have gone through twelve agonizing years of being overlooked and outcast! And if you think I'm going tolerate one more firetrucking minute--!

Sam its ok- you're taking it too literal/personal; ain't your fault. You're good bud

it's crazy to see all these old time FF fans playing XIV for the very first time and expecting to hate it for being a MMORPG and then they reach Heavensward and it turns into the 2nd coming of Christ for them because they can't believe that they are getting this feeling again they used to have as a child with their favorite game. And then they realize that this feeling is not necessarily tied to their nostalgia. It's something new and exciting

NO I AM NOT GOOD! DON'T YOU DARE TELL ME HOW I FEEL!

I meant like-- it's ok, just.calm down, you're having a moment, I get it, it's fine

No one here is attacking you

fine

sorry bro

prob my fault

and I experience this currently again in God of War Ragnarök. I absolutely didn't like certain segments of the start but I gave it another chance and I absolutely love it now

Well...I would have appreciated you not making the comment that I don't matter

He didn't mean it like that-- he meant, as a gamer- to the company

The corporations

yeah i guess, that wasn't a personal attack tho sorry

That doesn't improve things...

the next game I will try and expect to hate it is Genshin Impact btw seasalt_shinji I promised a friend to play the entire story

Apology accepted. I guess.

The story, and I'm not being sarcastic, is pretty good.

There's ways they tell and write I'm not a fan of, but, it's pretty solid.

Now the exploration/finding-all-the-shit aspect tho- that blows lol

they went a bit too hard on collectibles that aren't really fun to get, and the arena thing just grindy for no real reason

I think the whoIe expIoring part of Genshin is fun
just kinda Iooking around actuaIIy finding usefuI stuff in the overworId is great, as weII as the ocuIi and random scripted events

the daiIy mobiIe game and arena shit is exhausting and boring though
