I'm gonna play devils advocate and say it could turn out to feel stiffy. I'm really excited for XVI but I made the decision for myself to wait until I completely judge the combat. Like the Torgal moves are nice but we don't know yet if they will be practical in most situations

the moves could be useless on enemies that can't stagger or are in general too big for stagger

and no one wants a sad doggo

To also add, I've been replaying 7R and, I gotta say, DaZ had a point about the whole "Tifa looks/feels stiff" thing- you really see and feel it when you pay attention.

It's little things that help with this stuff like that- vibration, partially effects; I'm sure 16 will cover its tracks.

I feel like Tifa's main gameplay in 7R is just meant that you use the ATB skills. the autoattacks feel to a certain extend stiffy

autoattacks/normal hits

I never used normal hits on her that much

I really hope they fix Zack's punisher mode before Rebirth gets released. They added a new battle stance for Zack in Reunion that is basically punisher mode but it's awful

to enter the stance you have to press dodge and attack button at the same time. you get damage reduction in this stance, invul to status effects and your next command does more damage. But it only lasts for maybe 4 seconds. Which basically means gameplay turns into "press stance -> press command button -> repeat"
