And that’s what bugs me about Sonic’s narrative in general. A lot of characters seem to be there for no reason.

Team Dark is trying to find Eggman for answers (and presumabIy a mission on Rouge's end)
Team Chaotix are doing jobs for a cIient
aaand Team Sonic is trying to find Eggman

aII of these make sense and are consistent with who these characters are and what they do

in Forces though??

a guy that actuaIIy understands Sonic

l've read some of the comics and they have nice writing honestIy

l just don't think any of the other team is reaIIy on the same page as him
l'm aIso Iike, 99% sure that there are no Iead animation directors/supervisors or voice directors over at Sonic Team rn

I've talked to DaZ before about this but Sonic added to its cast, and utilized them well, and took creative risks until 06, but, after that bombed, starting with Unlesahed they started thinning the cast (except for the racing games), Sega put in mandates that limits character growth and stories, and starting with Colors they play it annoyingly safe when it comes to game play
