hawk222_1550644792 16 Posted October 8, 2022 so here's my question: how scary is it? i'm not big into horror stuff, to the point that i decided not to watch new mutants when they said it was a horror film (and the concept had my interest prior to learning that)
ElectriCole 5 Posted October 8, 2022 I'm just confused how it ties into the mcu cuz I know it does some how
HellboundOrc 2 Posted October 8, 2022 They’re Marvel characters. That’s pretty much it. It isn’t set at a specific time in the MCU.
TrinityXaos 0 Posted October 8, 2022 Who else is waiting for the next trailer for Final Fantasy XVI to come out?
HuntSD#7607 14 Posted October 8, 2022 Its more brutal then what the mcu has done with its deaths, they dont shy away from the kills here
hawk222_1550644792 16 Posted October 8, 2022 hmm, so more "gore" but how does that factor into the horror aspect? like, i can watch a film where people get killed in a more visceral way (not the best example, but like how kingsmen 1 did it in the church scene). it's the "spooky scary" kind of stuff that gets me. like, the ring, or the grudge, or other recent horror films
HuntSD#7607 14 Posted October 8, 2022 the horror is in the same vein as of the old monster films of the past, its there but really not
hawk222_1550644792 16 Posted October 8, 2022 ah, that's manageable for someone like me, then
HuntSD#7607 14 Posted October 8, 2022 expecting it to overall be tied to the Midnight Sons later, its a slow build up right now
HellboundOrc 2 Posted October 8, 2022 Maybe some appearances in Blade’s movie too
hawk222_1550644792 16 Posted October 8, 2022 had a thought earlier today: how many references to chris pratt's other roles do you think they'll try to insert in the mario movie? i'm hoping mostly none, though i could see them making one reference to jurassic world (since mario used to be some kind of zookeeper in donkey kong jr)you know, the scene where he's calming the velociraptors
ali3n.0bserv3r 6 Posted October 8, 2022 I think my first impressions of Ardyn are hilarious. This one is also a banger.
Silent Multiverse 7 Posted October 8, 2022 midnight sons led by blade. the werewolf and blade were part of a team called midnight sons with ghost rider, moon knight and whoever jon snow's character's susposed to bethats how it is in the comics so i guess it'll be the same in mcu
Daz_4th 7 Posted October 8, 2022 hmoh hey that art’s pretty cooI
Sam N 10 Posted October 8, 2022 It’s a shame Persona Q2 couldn’t get the same treatment, but it was made with the 3DS in mind, so I get it.
Daz_4th 7 Posted October 8, 2022 nah what're you taIking about if DDD couId make the jimp from 3DS to consoIe, PQ2 couId have as weIIthey're just Iazy and hate doing anything above the bare minimum
Sam N 10 Posted October 8, 2022 DDD wasn’t designed around using two screens though
Daz_4th 7 Posted October 8, 2022 that's fair, converting DDD was reaIIy obvious what to put whereso. what makes PQ2 so weird in that regard?
Sam N 10 Posted October 8, 2022 The fact that you have to draw a map, and to do that you need a view of both the level on the top screen and the map on the bottom screen simultaneously. You also…kinda need a touch screen. And a stylusI think the only practical solution might be on mobile
Daz_4th 7 Posted October 8, 2022 the maps in PQ2 are essentiaIIy just tiIes, right?wouId drawing them with a d-pad reaIIy be hard? not to mention, you can just impIement a button to go between map-editing mode and expIoration mode
Sam N 10 Posted October 8, 2022 I feel like that’s unintuitive and clunky
Daz_4th 7 Posted October 8, 2022 it's Iess intuitive than the originaI setup no doubt, but it's stiII way better than IiteraIIy not having it therecuz now, it'II be stuck on the 3DS for-IiteraIIy-ever just Iike most of that system's good games Imao
Sam N 10 Posted October 8, 2022 I’d get annoyed of doing that in the first ten minutes
Daz_4th 7 Posted October 8, 2022 hmmmthis map-editing, do you do it at the start of the dungeon and then start to expIore it? or do you map-edit during expIoration
