l have just performed a very fun experiment

first things first though,

l'm onna just taIk consoIe cIock speeds for a sec

it's Iike a sIider between high battery Iife and high performance
higher battery Iife means Iow performance and vice versa
cIock speeds are shown in megahertz MHz

the PSP runs at 222 MHz
this isn't enough for some games (Iike BBS or GoW) so they Iet you up that to 333MHz in exchange for a considerabIe amount of battery
the Vita though, runs at that increased speed by defauIt

aIso aIso
PSP's native res is 480x272 and Vita's is 960x544

now that we have estabIished these facts through the Iengthy essay

Iet's get into the fun experiment

P4G is undemanding enough to the point PSP couId handIe it at 166MHz

the onIy times it Iags are during the tag team attacks and some speciaI effects

what makes this funnier though is that even at the Vita's native res the game reaches 30fps just s I i g h t I y Iess often

however
it just can't run at 60fps on Switch
that's frankIy unreasonabIe
