i wanted to do all of 14's story in one sub because i didn't want to pay for another one, which for an MMO is the wrong mentality to have

okay theres one thing i got spoiled on kind of by a trailer for shadowbringers and something i want clarified. so

zodiark and hydaelaen are primals, but can someone tell me if it isnt just left as that and is actually clarified how this doesnt mess up the pre established lore of the world

It doesn't mess it up at all, it makes a lot of sense IMO.

Consider how Hydaelyn gets weaker and weaker over time. That suggests that even though she's a primal, she isn't draining the land to sustain herself. Hence the weakening.

 

 

Well, that, and a primal of that power staying around that long and draining the land would have drained the world dry a long time ago.
