I think this is so you can't, for example, unlock roxas dive before a kh2 stage

If you look at one of the pics in that tweet, you can see you need a "Roxas Memory Dive MS Material"

So you can't unlock it before you get that one thing

Which I am guessing is somewhere in the story

So looking at old trailers again after playing the demo

The Memory Dives which are music videos seems to just be using one button
