Limen 10 Posted November 16, 2020 if you mean the blue all excellent stamp, then no
Aqua_Wren 11 Posted November 16, 2020 I mean mostly does the game acknowledge it at all if you get all rainbow excellent instead of it being a mix of the two types of excellent.
Aqua_Wren 11 Posted November 16, 2020 I've only gotten a mix.
Limen 10 Posted November 16, 2020 you just get that crisp 9999999 score if you get all rainbows
Aqua_Wren 11 Posted November 16, 2020 I -had- figured that was how the song scoring worked.
Limen 10 Posted November 16, 2020 then with performer mode, theyre scored/kept track of independently om the side. it'll show how many of them you hit, and if you hit them all it has a small blue glow around it
Aqua_Wren 11 Posted November 16, 2020 I feel like, for the section of dark domination I put there. To do those sets of 3 fast enough consistently you probably have to use all three buttons in rapid succession. Like. X X XRL XX XRL
Aqua_Wren 11 Posted November 16, 2020 Not exactly at once but.
Aqua_Wren 11 Posted November 16, 2020 Rapidly after another.
Limen 10 Posted November 16, 2020 interesting tidbit as well: all three of these things are recorded separately for your "best score". so you could have a run where you didnt hit All Excellent, but hit all performer notes. In track selection, it'll show your blue glow next to your All Excellent stamp, with your highest number score that could have also been from a separate third run
Limen 10 Posted November 16, 2020 yeah thats def how you get through faster parts in generali use shoulder buttons mainly to attack so i can alternate between emA is only used for triples for me
Aqua_Wren 11 Posted November 16, 2020 i've actually done a lot of sections almost as bad as DD with just the X button but I think that's part of why I'm needing to rest my hands a bit now lol.
Limen 10 Posted November 16, 2020 yeahh hahaits much better for endurance, accuracy, and general training to get used to shoulder buttons mainly imo
OrpheusJoshua 126 Posted November 16, 2020 Yeah i only mash X lol
Aqua_Wren 11 Posted November 16, 2020 One thing I noticed on the switch demo that threw me for a loop. It uses R2 and L2 (RT and LT) for performer mode. But without performer on they also work just like R1/L1 for just hitting notes. And I'd been using them for that so.It kinda screwed my muscle memory over a bit. Limen 10 Posted November 16, 2020 wait, do they? i never noticed this lol
Aqua_Wren 11 Posted November 16, 2020 Yeah, when performer mode isn't on you can hit either of the L/R buttons and it works.
Limen 10 Posted November 16, 2020 i guess i didnt notice in the demo bc i solely did performerand with the full game i just didnt think to try lol
Aqua_Wren 11 Posted November 16, 2020 Something that really annoys me with the switch vs PS4 versions though. Is that the positioning of the attack vs jump buttons is reversed.
Aqua_Wren 11 Posted November 16, 2020 With no configuration to change that.
Limen 10 Posted November 16, 2020 you can in system settings for ps4 and controller configs for switch but yeah its dum
