im still thinking it's just drop rates for whatever those synthesis items will be

it's not though, if that were the case my beatmaps would be entirely different now than when i first played the demo lol

or bosses could have some kind of hp
if the song ends, battle ends normally
but defeating the boss before that could trigger some bonus, which would be easier with more strength

the boss battle music will def have a preset time to end like other songs, but i can definitely see strength playing a part there. just not in the way that we're thinking with defeating the boss early

it could also be done by dealing a specific amount of damage
in that case the boss would be defeated in the end

it doesnt have to die in the middle of the song

im checking guard does not affect score so it could be

but right now im specially worried about these notes

Related to stats, HP/Def increase from 35 to 99 isn't too insane. i let the game run on wonderland beginner to see how far it would get me and this is where i died. at level 85, it was only like 3 enemies before that

if the drift isn't bad i think you'll be fine, my first pair of joycons have drift and i've played on them before
