That's a thought people have had, thinking that

AC Sephi somehow came back in time and is manipulating Cloud

 

Others are thinking that Sephi just knows of the future similarly to Aerith somehow, maybe cause of the Lifestream

Yeah, the set up and movements are very similar. I think it could be communication through the lifestream. I think that makes the most sense to be honest.

Just cause of how Aerith transitions between when she is captured and after her rescue.

She somehow knows a lot more.

And also Clouds visions

Which come to him in a manner similar to when the whispers give the cast visions

He had some that were more flashbacks from amnesia. But that visions in the church was a big one. I think he had one or two small ones

Also now that I think about it. Sephiroths words were like 'let us defy destiny together' so it could be a lifestream thing. Though if it is of sephiroth then that body is jenova which I dont think speaks a whole lot. Sephiroth just controls her movements.

Those sephiroth clones are super creepy. especially the one that holding the other one that was that huge gross looking monster thing and then for some reason decided to jump off the building

speaking of that chapter. You know how when sephiroth stabs Barret and there’s that weird ghost smoke stuff because he was being protected by the whispers?

the same weird smoke thing happened with President Shinra after he got stabbed o.O so is he still alive somehow too?

Honestly I would expect that if they ever did another remake

The idea of it is kind of interesting I guess like a story happening but it's actually not the first time the story happened this is a second go around and there is noticeable things that are different but overall it follows most of the same formula as the original timeline

the whispers are just FF7 OG fans forcing the story to go the way it was in the original whenever nomura tries to make a change :AceLaugh:
