i'll be honest. I found myself learning the combat in this game far faster than I ever did in the original. Idk, the original ff7 feels almost unplayable to me

so 7r feels like a blessing in comparison

Im replayign the OG and u can get by the whole game with ennemy materia alone

as for FFXV... I objectively spent more hours on it than VII R but the gameplay lacks the depth, becuz u heal thru most damage with elixirs and it never felt like it offered more than what was initially shown

I mean I beat 15 like 20 times and that's counting the DLC in comrades each run so I had my fair share of 15 but I wouldn't say the combats deep

theres a little tint bit more to it then just holding circle but not much

only issue is its like 120 gb to have everything

i'd probably respect and enjoy 15 a lot more if my first experience with it was after all of the DLC and patches for it came out.

While it does spoil everything about the villain xv is about the brotherhood then anything, ep arydn introsdices you well into the world and lets you run around insomina as a bombastic ff intro

The only really annoying thing is the Royal Edition DLC makes it so you can not get the off-road car until you or like halfway through the game about to exit the open-world section

I think you get royal edition for “free” now
