I think I understand partly why people don't like the ending it's a similar problem to Kingdom Hearts 3 but in that the ending has no context and people are unsure of where it's going however unlike Hearts 3 this is the beginning of a series not the end

i think for overall area like that first image, the Luminous engine or whatever they used does really well with dark ambiance but UE4 as a whole does way better

i think at least VIIR still feels FF unlike some realistic game or an attempt at true realism
