Sad thing about dubbed anime and games, they don't really have a lot of space to add stuff they want here and there to fit something better

Steins;Gate is a rare one that was allowed to do it

Yeah but I think they translated more to the "spirit" of the original rather than the letter

A lot of older dubs/translations took liberties
