I was gonna post on the places I ask for survey and let it simmer and thats it

but I think for me, it was to know if something that is considered by many as "BAD WRITING" can be satisfying

or not?

I would say me Im in the middle, I was neither dissatisfied nor satisfied by the ending and it left me with questions aobut the overal enjoyment of it, and at the same time, it makes wonder can this endign detract others from enjoying like if you take a step back

because imo, the people who truly dislike it aren't going to bother with a poll

I thioutnk I have said this a million times but imagine if this is ff7 coming out for the first time like this is ff7 and we never played the original that's how I view it and enjoy it a lot

So the idea would be that the plot ghosts are trying to force a destiny but we don't know what that's me is because we never played the story before in a sense

i think my mentality and overall expectations were pretty misplaced too

because, I don't know. I went into it expecting to not get a number of references and such. That was going to happen dozens of times and I was fine with it

but for some reason, just seeing the visions alone and the Crisis Core ending really really irritated me

it does feel they rely on the knowledge of the og a bit to much

but i assume theyre saving that for sequel's

like when Sephorth shows up in chap 2 a new player is like who and the games acting like you know who he is

It's like I'm in a place where I'm blaming myself for not having gone through the original and also thinking if I should've even played the remake at all because I did not enjoy what I played of the original. But, I enjoyed the remake's take on the narrative quite a bit until the end

so it's very iffy for me

I guess I just wasn't expecting such direct references to the original, wish I knew of that prior to playing honestly

hmm, I think everyone who's been having issues like me would've been better off waiting for the entirety of all the parts before playing

however long that would've taken
