but I think for me, it was to know if something that is considered by many as "BAD WRITING" can be satisfying

or not?

I would say me Im in the middle, I was neither dissatisfied nor satisfied by the ending and it left me with questions aobut the overal enjoyment of it, and at the same time, it makes wonder can this endign detract others from enjoying like if you take a step back

i think logically, a poll like this would be 50/50 but the type of people who answer this are going to eek over to positivity

because imo, the people who truly dislike it aren't going to bother with a poll

I thioutnk I have said this a million times but imagine if this is ff7 coming out for the first time like this is ff7 and we never played the original that's how I view it and enjoy it a lot

becuz the people who dislike the game wont want to ahve more info about the game

so that's where the negativity really stems from

So the idea would be that the plot ghosts are trying to force a destiny but we don't know what that's me is because we never played the story before in a sense

idk it makes sense to me lol

I was pretty on board with it all until the ending hit

so idk, it's a complex issue for me

hoenstly Its not about how the execution was done, im really jsut interested in data, and objectively knowing who liked it vs who didnt

I tihnk another important segment is the comments that I recorded with my poll also

That allows you to inject your own personal thoughts and feeling i guess

ff7r ending has the same issues as kh3s ending did before remind expect this is the begining if a story not the end

i think my mentality and overall expectations were pretty misplaced too

because, I don't know. I went into it expecting to not get a number of references and such. That was going to happen dozens of times and I was fine with it

but for some reason, just seeing the visions alone and the Crisis Core ending really really irritated me

i mean we expected remake and got RE:MAKE

so I was fine with everything prior up until that point

it does feel they rely on the knowledge of the og a bit to much

but i assume theyre saving that for sequel's

like when Sephorth shows up in chap 2 a new player is like who and the games acting like you know who he is

It's like I'm in a place where I'm blaming myself for not having gone through the original and also thinking if I should've even played the remake at all because I did not enjoy what I played of the original. But, I enjoyed the remake's take on the narrative quite a bit until the end

so it's very iffy for me

I guess I just wasn't expecting such direct references to the original, wish I knew of that prior to playing honestly

It's hard, becuz I think in Nomura's mind he never wanted to remake like everyone thought

The marketing was terrible from that p-o-v

its also a part 1 so they prob wanted mystery still to be revealed later parts

but Nimura himself didnt want to create sth thatll take away or overshadow or live in the shadow of the original,

So i dont your supposed to know stuff yet in remake

the marketing I view to be incredibly deceptive yeah

hmm, I think everyone who's been having issues like me would've been better off waiting for the entirety of all the parts before playing

however long that would've taken

I get the feeling it's going to flow a lot better once you're able to play a part 2 immediately after part 1
