Basically the cast saw

glimpses of the future, Sephiroth also acted like he knew stuff

 

 

A bunch of people thought it meant that this is a parallel universe/alternate timeline to the og game of FF7

 

And somehow think that it's the sequel to the original game rather than a remake

Even though everything up until the last hour or two was pretty damn faithful except for some other small changes here and there

And the story ended up exactly like where the og did too when they left Midgard

I played the game already

I enjoyed it

Had tons of fun

I can get not liking the twist

I have absolutely no issue with people feeling like that

I just hate the holier-than-thou act they put up thinking that if you like it you somehow got paid by square

I have only seen 10 people say it like that so far which isn't a lot thankfully

But I am afraid it's just gonna escalate

If square wanted it to be a sequel, they'd put it on the title. People act like they'd be afraid to put a number on a numbered title like they haven't done that twice already.
