I really think newcomers will love this game. It's a damn good beginning, middle and end to it

At the end of the day, this is still a remake. It's retelling what the og did but adding new elements to it, which includes the ending.

People who think this is alternate timeline, dimensions are just high

It's just as a way to tease the future and show what the characters will do forward

I am pretty disappointed at Square Enix as a company however. They didn't have to take the controversial decision, they've done it three times now with three different AAA games and it rarely works out well for them. We can't deny, as financially good these games are, there are large numbers of fans who are unhappy.

That doesn't make the games quality worse or anything, but you would think that after twice seeing similar results they would make FF7R more vanilla
