Power Jusho 1,783 Posted March 9, 2020 What is your favorite final world?
CreamyIceCreamBoi 3 Posted March 9, 2020 (edited) So much happens in The World That Never Was. Roxas fight, Destiny Trio reunion, finishing off the rest of the Organization, Sora learning about Roxas, Ansem's sacrifice, Maleficent and Pete helping Sora out, and imo the best final boss in the series. The atmosphere of the End of the World was amazing though, it's a strong second place. Keyblade Graveyard was also pretty cool because of the context we were getting behind KH2's secret ending. Scala is easily the most beautiful one of the bunch, but it was nothing more than an arena for the final battle. There was no exploration whatsoever in the base game which hurts it a lot. Movies798 1,358 Posted March 9, 2020 I love them all. Here's my list of my favorite Final World in the Kingdom Hearts series. 1.) The World That Never Was 2.) Scala ad Caelum 3.) Keyblade Graveyard 4.) End of the World
littleTSUBAME 483 Posted March 9, 2020 The World That Never Was... I recently replayed that part of KH2, so that might help, but overall it’s just so good? Great bossfights, epic story, emotinal moments... everything’s just so good. Not to mention I love TWTNW a lot due to Days anyway. But I have a soft spot for End of the World from KH1 just due to how eerie it feels at times. Can’t really explain it. Nostalgia could have something to do with it. As a world though, it doesn’t stand out that much. Also, Scala is cool, but since we don’t really get to explore it that much until re:mind and even then, we don’t get to know that much about it, I can’t place it very high. Really looking forward to getting to know more about it lorewise in the future though. Keyblade graveyard to me kinda just... is. I don’t have too many strong opinions about it. 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this
Roxasrox 131 Posted March 9, 2020 TWTNW is my pick. It's linear, but the atmosphere of it is palpable. And the straightforwardness of it just makes it feel like a big long arduous journey to the top, overcoming anything in your way to reach the end - it's a very "endgame" feeling. Plus it's beautiful. End of the World is a close second. A weird but incredible place that throws together a lot of elements from throughout the journey. Getting to the end of it felt like a reflection on everything I'd been through and a final exam rolled into one. The Keyblade Graveyard is atmospheric in abundance and has a cool soundtrack, but the world itself is rather small and quite uninteresting to play through. Scala Ad Caelum, even in ReMind, just doesn't feel much like a final world. It's an interesting, beautiful place that also has fantastic music, but it's more of a stage than a level and the trials faced in it just seem a bit haphazard, like the conflicts are kinda disconnected from the world they're happening in, if that makes sense. Dem be my takes. 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this
Sentient Potato 3 Posted March 9, 2020 The World That Never Was is #1 for me. End of The World is a very close 2nd because of the structure. Love the portals to other worlds. They did the same in kh3 which was pretty cool too
ocean's rage 772 Posted March 9, 2020 hmm that is a tough one, each of them has theyre own pros and cons, i mean weve seen so much of twtnw and the graveyard that theyve lost a little of the initial impact. dont think weve seen the last of scala either so it may go the same way. over all i guess ill go with, er end of the world. dunno may change that
SoraDaxjer28 263 Posted March 10, 2020 The End of The World is my favorite. The main reason is because, back in KH1, the storyline was much more simple. The danger felt very real, especially knowing that, if Sora, Donald Duck, and Goofy had failed to stop Ansem, The Seeker of Darkness, it would have meant the end of all the worlds. Plus, the music was a remix of the Awakening theme, making the atmosphere feel like this was it and Sora's calling was about to be fulfilled. The Keyblade Graveyard is my second favorite. The main reason is due to its desolate environment, and, in particular, the ominous music indicating the location as the last battles to come. The World That Never Was is next. The main reason being the dark, stormy atmosphere combined with deserted streets and a towering castle. Knowing that castle was the stronghold of Organization XIII, it indicated this was the last step to defeating Xehanort's Nobody in KH2. In KH3D, the music is even more intense, marking the seriousness of what Sora and Riku had gotten themselves into -- (Xehanort's deception and trap). Scala Ad Calem is my least favorite since there is not much to explore aside from the final battles. True, that might have been updated with "KH3 Remind", yet I still do not have access to that DLC. I also found its music the least ominous of all the final worlds. 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this

ienzo628 548 Posted March 11, 2020 What if the final world isn't on the list like wasn't Twilight Town the final world in Days?

Actually, the last battle of "Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days" was Roxas V.S. Riku. That showdown was at Memory's Skyscraper in The World That Never Was. The "Final" Worlds are the locations where the absolute last showdown takes place.

The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted March 28, 2020 Each final world in the franchise is memorable for one reason or another, but to me, The Keyblade Graveyard takes the cake for me! I fell in love with this world ever since Birth By Sleep, and my love for it only solidified once Kingdom Hearts III came around! Even though it's simple in design and aesthetic, it's more of the symbolism and what it represents in the series. A tomb for wielders of ages past, locked in a war that led to destruction. And it being the final site for the clash between the Guardians Of Light and the Seekers Of Darkness was more than fitting! The ominous music, the memorable moments in BBS and III, and just the overall vibe of it make it my top favorite world! And with III, it's because The Keyblade Graveyard basically serves as three worlds in one! And that was an amazingly pleasant and jaw dropping surprise!
