Something strange...Maleficent?

Recommended Posts

Well, technicly, that wasn't Riku. That was Ansem SoD controlling Riku's body. And Aqua and Ventus defeating Maleficent was 10 years ago dude. she didn't die the way she did in Kh1 back then. And she got revived because she is a witch, a creature of the darkness, her darkness calls her back everytime. Kinda like Sephiroth when he says "No matter how many times you defeat me. You're darkness keeps calling me back". So it's something kinda similiar like that.

Riku technically didn't kill Maleficent: it was Xehanort. Aqua and Ventus didn't literally kill her, Maleficent fled despite the fact that she lost much energy. as for when Xehanort defeated her, she was a witch so she was able to be revived

I couldve sworn it was Ansem: Seeker of Darkness, unless you wanted to get technical and all.

...ok ok wait...even though riku got rid of maleficent's heart with the keyblade of people's hearts...why does she come back, and aqua beat her, and ven beat her...WHY WON'T SHE DIE!?!?!?

He didn't get rid of her heart. He merely unlocked it, and allowed it to reach it's fullest potential. Ven obviously didn't kill her, and Aqua didn't either. After that, she had about 10 years to recover from her beating, until SDG(B?) came and tag teamed against her, and somehow managed to "kill" her. Then in KH2 she was revived through some means I never bothered trying to understand because it was just so... random.

It was. Or you can just call him Rikunort, so everybody wins! :D

You can say it was a Xehanort reincarnation :P

Ansem SoD (Riku) just unlocked her heart so she could become more powerful and pretty much turn into a mindless dragon. I'm pretty sure she was revived by Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather's memories since they were like "Oh no, don't remember her!" and then Maleficent finished reviving when one of them said her name. I don't think it's really that important, she was really only brought back to be a plot device. If it's not the memories thing, then it probably has something to do with the magic of Yen Sid's tower.

You know, that thing about her being revived by Yen Sid's tower some how kinda makes sense, but I would say it makes more sense that she was revived by their memories, which would explain why the crow brought her cloak to them.

Yeah, that's what made me think it was one of those two things, otherwise there's no reason to bring the cloak to the tower. What kinda pissed me off though is that in the manga, she's revived in Villain's Vale instead, which really has no explanation to it.

I still kinda laugh that *mutters something about novels* Roxas and Axel were the ones that released Diablo from his cage xD

Really? When did that happen? xD

Xemnas apparently noticed some sort of "movement" regarding the Keyhole in Hollow Bastion, and sends Axel and Roxas to investigate. But, once there, all they had to do was kill Heartless. Before returning, they notice Diablo in his cage, Roxas suggests freeing him, and Axel throws his chakram at the cage, thereby indirectly causing the rebirth of Maleficent.

Another Report: Roxas - Somewhere in Time
