ali3n.0bserv3r 6 Posted August 27, 2022 :excite:Little moments like this really make me think the BBS novel is more canon than anticipated.
kristi-swat_1581411663 0 Posted August 27, 2022 well MoM already said that he has trapped true darknesses within the foretellers and himself
kristi-swat_1581411663 0 Posted August 27, 2022 a bit confused with the conversation of Xehanort and Vanitas. He says 2 darknesses were destroyed when the world collapsed. But wasn’t 1 of them in Ventus? And if there is another darkness disguised as light, doesn’t that make them 14 and not 13?
kylvex#0 0 Posted August 27, 2022 There are 13. go to 55:28 for the whereabouts of Darkness.
Noleen#7811 3 Posted August 27, 2022 well now we are kinda sure Vanitas is the true darkness that was in ventus, not sure if it's still alive or not tho

Snakeskin94 13 Posted August 27, 2022 Finale talk: ok but since Sora is my favorite character, the speech at the end of the finale made me wanna weep
Noleen#7811 3 Posted August 27, 2022 i felt more about Player thinking xehanort was the "chosen one" when we know how he ends, good thing Sora is probably the real deal
Snakeskin94 13 Posted August 27, 2022 I know right, Player got trolled by destiny-- we got meme'd to our dying breath 😔 Nomura is a monster.

Snakeskin94 13 Posted August 27, 2022 There's something hilariously poetic about that I feel lolLike a manifestation of our relationship with Nomura he literally let us think for a year we were Xehanort only to be like hah lol no get rekt geek

J u i c e 1 Posted August 28, 2022 Honestly, this finale really reaffirmed for me how Sora is the perfect protagonist for this series. Xehanort was told from a very young age that he was destined to change the world and spent decades of scheming to try and fulfill that destiny, but ultimately he’s surpassed by a nobody (not that kind) who just happened to be at the right place at the right time and had a truly innocent heart. Limen 10 Posted August 28, 2022 I think you're missing the biggest part about that whole thing that makes that detail so much better. Xehanort was told the child of destiny would come from the isles of destiny. but think about it. he wasn't born there, the robed figure just tried to cheat the system and raise him there lmfao. Sora WAS born there, and he has done amazing things through his connections of the heart, just as the robed figure mentioned as well. basically, my dude xehanort got firetrucked by the very same destined child he was told he would be his whole life LMAO anyways just finishedhoohoo
Snakeskin94 13 Posted August 28, 2022 YassssssMy boi 😭
J u i c e 1 Posted August 28, 2022 I didn’t even think of it like that but you’re totally right lol. It’s kind of a nice way to preserve the whole “Sora is not supposed to be special” thing while also giving Xehanort some decades-in-the-making comeuppance. Snakeskin94 13 Posted August 28, 2022 in a weird way, it almost feels like MoM has a vendetta with Sora- I don't know how to explain it, but, now, the way things with Xehanort went down in 3 feel different. Like he's a stepping stone for Sora- MoM isn't just his true enemy but his true rival. Probably reading too much into it lol but, that's how I felt. Cami B 0 Posted August 28, 2022 hmm thats pretty interesting like who would have a vendetta with sora, most of them are like dead or basically reformed ya know
J u i c e 1 Posted August 28, 2022 Cant wait for MoM to meet Sora in KH4 and just be super condescending to him the whole time
Snakeskin94 13 Posted August 28, 2022 my logic is that, since Master of Masters can see the future (and we don't know if the Book of Prophecies counts for Sora's existence), perhaps as he's watching everything from afar, it's kinda one of those "how can he beat these odds", or "how can he beat everything I've thrown at him" kinda thing.
