Vexoria 9 Posted February 10, 2020 Does Sora only Crystalize in the bad ending?
King Arthur13 51 Posted February 10, 2020 yeah
Vexoria 9 Posted February 10, 2020 Okay hear me outIn the Fabula Nova Crystallis Final Fantasy Titles: XIII, Type 0, and originally planned VsXIII there are two groups of humans that have been touched by Divine beings. L'cie and fal'cie.
King Arthur13 51 Posted February 10, 2020 Fal' cie are demi gods tho
Vexoria 9 Posted February 10, 2020 The l'cie specifically had Focuses or Tasks they were given and when they completed that task the would enter Crystal StasisThey remained mortal but forever stuck in this Stasis unless they were certain conditions were met and they returned to normal. They don't die but are said to dream
King Arthur13 51 Posted February 10, 2020 cieth are simply the ones that fail their focus right?
King Arthur13 51 Posted February 10, 2020 man what a time, ff13 being relevent again, its like 2010 again
Vexoria 9 Posted February 10, 2020 But here's the thing, Sora turns to Crystal in the bad end. It's like a Stasis and as many are suggesting, the secret ending where Sora wakes up and looks at his hand it's because he remembers crystalizing.
King Arthur13 51 Posted February 10, 2020 hmmmmmmmmmmthat makes me wonder where his chrystalis wentin the bad ending
Vexoria 9 Posted February 10, 2020 If this is the case, Sora is dreaming in his Crystal form which means Sora's heart is sleeping and guess who knows exactly how to follow a sleeping heart?
King Arthur13 51 Posted February 10, 2020 hmm cool, but it is a little dissapointing to know that sora canonically wouldve lost that fight then
Vexoria 9 Posted February 10, 2020 ExactlyOkay but here's the thingNo
King Arthur13 51 Posted February 10, 2020 i guess it would make sense tho since yozora seems way more powerful than soraand more experienced
Vexoria 9 Posted February 10, 2020 What if it's possible that the bad ending happens and then Sora sleeps after crystalizing waking up in a dream version of Shibuya where he then can face Yozora until he beats him in which we receive the True Ending?
King Arthur13 51 Posted February 10, 2020 hm sounds coolwould be kinda cool to know that beating yozora is "breaking a cycle" of sortsI wonder if yozora dreamt both sequences
Vexoria 9 Posted February 10, 2020 Either way even if this is entirely ballistic overthinking, Nomura is obviously using a lot of his time on VsXIII and knowledge of the lore in the Fabula Nova CrystallisIt could also be the case that Yozora and Sora are both dreaming and linked upon interloping paths of their dreamsI get why Nomura denied it being his exact ideals of VsXIII though. Because Verum Rex and everything Yozora represents is meld of that and Kingdom Hearts. It is its own unique lore set.I do wonder though. Kairi is obviously going to play a key role next time. Would the amount of time she has slept for be on a deeper level? Is she able to trace that connection too?
Vexoria 9 Posted February 10, 2020 I believe this title will be pushed on SX and PS5 though. Depending on what world's are involved and how detailed Shibuya is planned to be. Like Shibuya looks more real than The Caribbean does. I can't imagine Nomura giving up any amount of small details for it.
King Arthur13 51 Posted February 10, 2020 You know what I just realized that the award from yozora and the dark inferno in base kh3 are a name reference to the regalia in ff15 maybe
Aqua_Wren 11 Posted February 10, 2020 @King Arthur13 @Vexoria @DANNY.R.G.8 In the games files, the losing ending is called the bad ending, but the winning version is called the True Ending, not the good ending. Also winning gets the new tag line and all that, it's far, far more likely that winning is canon.
Vexoria 9 Posted February 10, 2020 While that's true I do think both line up in some way.
