Scsigs 119 Posted December 16, 2019 (edited) So, I've seen this in a few places that Geoffrey Rush apparently voiced Hector Barbossa in KHII, but only an "Australian dub." I have to ask any Aussies here, is this true? I imagine that this would've been for the original PS2 release & not the later HD port in KHIIFM or the Japanese release of KHIIFM, since he's voiced by Brian George in KHII & III. It's curious, since, you'd think, if Disney & Square could've gotten him back, not only would he have been in the game, but his voice recordings would be used everywhere after he recorded the lines, even in the HD rerelease & Japanese release of KHIIFM, since they didn't add any scenes to the Disney worlds in Final Mix. Even if Rush didn't have any interest in being in KHIII, they probably would've done that, since he's the official live action actor of the character. Is this true, Aussies, or is it hearsay? RugratsNappiesFanatic 38 Posted December 16, 2019 I'm actually from Australia but I never noticed this at all to be honest. but I guess it makes the most sense. especially for the original ps2 version.
