@Amaterasu_1549906707 ah not just that ppl. the fanbase ignored the problems that pokemon has over years and now suddenly they realize that some of the design decision the games made over the years aren't actually good

like introducing more and more pokemon

and that the combat is completely broken

Well not true, I think a lot of small companies can be quite good because they have the ability to be good. They dont have the pressure that bigger companies have. Its a different kind of pressure for smaller ones but it doesn't lead to them churning out products every day or month or year.

The schedule is different and the budget would most likely be smaller too

as an example, Hellblade: Senuas Sacrifice was something they worked their asses of with their own budget throughout the whole thing and then self-published it
