I'm still not happy with the character designs. I think the art direction should be more like KH3, but that's just my opinion. It's how they want tales of games to look like

Since the core battles have stayed the same, all games have a different system

in beseria it felt like you can't really do combos

Vesperia had amazing combos but they were really hard to learn right

You can, just with the soul gauge system

Like elanor you had to do hers right to get 30+ hits

Vs Velvet you just hit R2 and dark knight yourself over and over once you know how to stun lock an enemy and perfect dodge a bosses revenge move

Arise if it does go full AJRPG, it'll be interesting to see how they allow for combo potential

Every game is different teams and even the ones set in the same world tend to be millenia apart.

also I recomend Tales of the Abyss.
