Its confirmed that NA won't get any KH Final mix series unless imported... But why did they (S.E) do Final mixes in English while the texts in Japan? It's a headache also to read japanese....Why don't they just do it completely in Japan? What do guys think?

Well, to tell you the truth, Sqaure-Enix lives in Japan and owns the series. Japanese people were complaining that we had more stuff in our English versions than the Japanese versions. Like in the English version of Kh1 we had sephiroth and some of the other secret bosses, as well a new keyblades that weren't included in the Japanese version. Same thing goes for KH2, we had Sephiroth as a secret boss and that was also something that the japanese version of KH2 didn't have. that's why they always get the Final Mix's. The reason why the Final Mix's have English voice casting with japanese subtitles is because they just take the english version, and just add extra things to it that the English and Japanese version never had.

Actually, Sephiroth was in the Japanese version of KH2 as well. We didn't get anything special in the international version of KH2.

If anything, they amount they took OUT of the english version was higher than the extra content they put in!

They ruined the whole POTC world by replacing guns with crossbows, getting rid of the suicide attempt by Will and making Jack 'die' without a sword sticking out of him.

So they make MORE stuff, like for KH2FM, its like another week of full gameplay added, compared to us having just one thing.

Same with KHFM, i want that, for those cool other heartless and that.

We International fans can complain all we want, but sadly we'll never get the final mixes because S.E values their indigenous fans. It sucks, but that's why I modded my ps2. We can all enjoy the final mixes we just gotta fork out a little cash to upgrade our ps2s. I'm glad I did it to my ps2. Even though I will admit that I originally did it for KH2FM, I have like 6 other non KH games that never came out over to the USA. The only thing that I find annoying is I cannot read Japanese... but I know now what cure, potion, and hi potion looks like in Japanese. This took me hours of fail to figure out and just recently found out that there websites out there that will help you decipher the Japanese.

 

But yeah even though it sucks ass, I do really believe the Japanese should get their special treatment. They deserve it... even if it leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. My only hope is that Disney will one day stop modding Xigbars guns and let the tiny bit of violence be shown. Seriously... is this generation of kids to pansy to handle the sight of a gun? Two words, Blue Mr. Popo.

They also want to make an english version available so over-obsessive fans fly all the way to Japan just to get the final mix.
