KH2 KH2 Final Mix American?

Ok someone told me that Final mix is only for Japanese PS2's and i cant figure it out, because i think it might be true and that you will need a different kind of ps2 for it cuz the final mixses i find all say import from japan, anyone wish to clarify?

True, you do need to import the game if you really want to. But if you want to play the Final Mix's on your playstation 2 you will need Swap Magic DVD installed for your PS2. If you want to know how to install it here is a tutorial video on how to do that.

If your PS2 isn't modded you'll need a Japanese one, or Swap Magic. If you don't want to do either of those two get your PS2 modded, so it's Region Free.

This is a PS2 we're talking about here, not a PS3. If you were talking about PS2, the Playstation Network isn't on that.

The make-up of the Japanese and American PS2's are different, unlike the countries corresponding PSP's (Which makes it easy to order the Final Mix that will be available to Japan next year). So, if you want to play either KH1FM or KH2FM+, you would either have to order a PS2 from Japan and the the Final Mix you want, or there is something that you can hook up to your American PS2 (I am not sure what it is) that allows you to play certain, if not all, Japanese PS2 games.
