A few days ago I broke my foot. Suddenly it started to hurt really bad like someone was torching and cutting it at the same time. I went to the hospital with my parents and the doctors said that they couldn't do the surgery so we had to catch the plane to Zurich, Switzerland and do the surgery there. The problem is that the surgery costs 3000

Wait wait wait. You would have to chop your foot off because its broken? What the heck!

 

Anyways, I would try to find an alternate way to keep your foot. If Switzerland is too expensive for you, try to find other doctors who are willing to do the surgery cheaper, or work a deal with the doctor, paying off the money over time not all at once.

Plus why does the foot need to be cut off if it is only broken? Bones heal naturally by themselves, medical procedures only speed up the healing. I need a little more information to be as helpful as I can.

Just because it's broken,it isn't a good reason to CUT it.Like Fredfredbug4 said.Bones heal naturally by themselves.Just try to leave it rest as much as possible.It will heal,but with in due time.If it hurts,try to massage it a little bit,but not to hard.You can also put a small amount of ice to see if the pain eases.

 

My grandmother was a nurse at a hospital and this is as far as I have learned from watching her.I'll ask her for any more suggestions tomorow and tell you.But as this is the best I can suggest you.

Like the above posters said: Bones heal naturally but takes some time. Rest at home and don't move too much, I'm sure it'll heal slowly.

Or maybe you could go find an eastern doctor...

It's not just that his bone is damaged but could also be the nerves as well which are causing the burning sensation, some limbs can be damaged enough to where a removal of a limb may be necessary. Doctors are supposed to pay attention to the patients before pay is what I believe and also according to the Hippocratic Oath. I wish I was further into my biology major so I could help you but find a hospital ASAP or a place that is cheaper.

but in the unlikely event they do need to amputate your foot, don't worry, with prostethics (and socks) it shouldn't prevent you from doing anything in any way (apart from being a foot model)

I remember you telling me yesterday that you couldn't just pay the money off that they demanded the money up front. If that's true what about getting a loan. I really don't think they can deny you medical care no matter what state and country you're in. I think you should check into this because I'm pretty sure that they still have to give you medical care wiether you have the money up front or not.

And if you don't have the money to pay for the surgery then I suggest try to pay it as the days go by, and not try to get it all at once. Like try to make some deal with the doctor or surgeon that is operating your surgery.

Chopping off your foot is going to cost a pretty penny itself, and a whole lot more in the long run. If it's something that needs to be done soon in order to save nervous tissue or something like that, then just take out a loan. It shouldn't be too terribly hard to get one, and I'm sure, if you need it, you can find someone willing to co-sign given your situation.

The doctors said that it's an infection that I got on my foot (I don't even know how I got it) and they won't let us do a loan and the worst part is that they want all the money at once after the surgery.

Most infections can be fixed with modern medicine. Unless the infection contains some kind of deadly disease, cutting off your foot would be like giving one million dollars to a homeless guy. It's unnecessary and the problem can be fixed with less extreme measures.

well that's the situation here in portugal we're are not swimming in money for loans but still I'm pissed because a cool guy like Sora's Little Helper is going to loose his foot if they don't make that loan. sometimes I wish I had the courage to go the Assembly room and murder every politician that was wasting our country's money just by standing there doing nothing but complain about the money crisis.

Why would you cut off your foot just because it's broken? Don't you have health insurance for this type of stuff? Bones heal naturally and they need time. Don't cu off your foot just because it's broken.
