Demyx stretched and yawned once more before turning to the door. When he opened his eyes, he felt his body go limp. A shiver ran down his back and his gaze never faltered. Namine...she was so beautiful....He tried to shake away the blush on his cheeks and smiled at her.

 

"Hey, Namine! You look the same as ever!"

The line rang through Namine's head and she felt her smile grow genuine as she took graceful steps to Demyx's bed side, sitting next to him and giving him a careful hug. She didn't want to accidentally cause him pain. That'd be horrible of her.

 

"I missed you so much." She said shyly, playing with the elegant curls of her hair. "I'm so glad you're okay..."

Demyx grinned. She was being so adorable right now. She worried about him and that warmed Demyx's heart so much...He felt that the sun got a bit brighter when she stepped in the room too. It wasn't because of the dress. No, she could have come in rags and Demyx's heart could have fluttered. No. It was Namine in general. He smiled widely and pulled her into a tight hug.

 

"For a second...I swore I was dead...Because I saw an angel." Demyx said, smiling.

Namine blushed brightly, leaning forward to push back his loose bangs and kiss his forehead. She smiled at him, heart beating faster with each passing moment. He was so sweet to her, and this...hearing him compliment her...made her stomach flutter.

 

"Then I guess I'm in heaven when I'm with you." She said back smoothly, surprised by how fluently she had responded to that.

Demyx smiled and hugged her tightly, picking her off her feet for a second. He held her close and whispered in her ear. "Love, I won't be in heaven til I die. And I probably would go to Hell's gates for stealing an angel like you from God~" He set her down gently and smiled warmly at her.
