you know i think dream drop distance had a lot of miss potential

like isn't it weird that dream drop distance is the only kingdom hearts game to not have Olympus coliseum as a world

like ddd could've been a longer game if the developers at square enix knew what they hell they were doing sooner

like a jungle book world would've been a great addition considering how they were already working on it in bbs they could've repurposed it for a ddd world

or at least they could've fleshed out the mechanics more to be more well tuned in the game to work better

DDD seems to be like visiting the past worlds, like prequels of the disney worlds from KH1/KH2

dream drop distance is still a good game

but i believe it could've been better

tbf the original concept was just having dream drop distance be solely riku

with sora being added in for popularity sake of being the main character

honestly what they should've done was have all 3 of the desitiny island trio take on the mark of mastery

it would've made sense kairi literally given a keyblade from riku at the end of that game and it would've been kind cool to have 3 characters to switch between

hell they could've had more worlds exclusive to those characters as well

hell they could've made their playstyles corresponding with aqua ventus and terra

so the abilities they get from say the dream eaters would be focused more on their abilities

heck it would've been ever cooler towards the end of the game that xeanort does actually takes soras body and with riku and kairi you fight againt this sora-nort just like the terranort battle but it would be more like the vanitus battle where riku would be fighting sora on the outside and kairi from the inside

honestly i'm surprised the dwarf woodlands isn't in the game or even echanted dominian insn't in the game

those would've been perfect worlds to have there as well

after bbs they straight up never are introduced ever again and only we see fragments of the destoryed world

you might say its redundent to have a world repeated from the last game before ddd

but have this reminder that kingdom hearts 1 worlds were literally reused for 2 entire games

btw you know what i notice in the kingdom hearts community

kingdom hearts 1 and 2 are games that are always praised

but, then everything else the fanbase sees are mediocre?

i love kh1 and kh2 like the next guy but, come on really they think chain of memories 358/2 days BBS DDD recoded 3 and melody of memory to be mediocre

it makes me wonder how kingdom hearts is still as popular as it is today

i guess kingdom hearts 1 and 2 are really that good of games towhere people will ignore the other ones
