The Hydra fight is like that too. You have to waste time killing the heads before you can damage the main body. And the only skill tested in that is how well you can mash triangle.

Do you know something I have noticed about a majority of Kingdom Hearts fans? Many younger fans, including those who are children tend to connect to Sora easily but many older fans, especially those my age or older tend to connect to the other characters more like Roxas or Riku.

Sora is basically a gaming icon for kids, parents with kids or vulnerable adults (including those who are disabled and/or neurodivergent such as myself) which makes sense and it's what I have seen from most Sora fans and I am a fan of him as a neurodivergent person.

Well yes I guess the same could be said where people compare certain games to the Souls series just because, even though there are far better comparisons that no one has ever bother to know or try, although I guess in more accurately KH is more close to the Mana games than Zelda really

Without Disney, KH would be Generic JRPG #228. It’s a core part of the series identify. Every aspect takes something from it; from music, to narrative themes and tone, even down to character design. Not to mention it’s one of the few video games that actually takes Disney seriously.
