as a game alone it was rough but far from being bad
and then ReMind + that patch came in and really polished a lot up

i do enjoy the base game more than KH2FM base game however so that's a plus for me

while empty as a whole, i do love looking at San Fransokyo quite a lot

especially at night

a lot of people forget how KH2 Vanilla was

I wish more worlds would have had a day/night option. Arendelle looked so much more beautiful during the early part of the story when it was night.

it was partially implemented for keyblade graveyard in kh3

No it wasn't. The day/night shift in The Keyblade Graveyard was scripted, just like in Arendelle. And in free roam, it depends on which part of the map you're in.

A day/night cycle in a game is when it cycles between day and night unconditionally. With story segments forcing either day or night as necessary.

In San Fransokyo, it wasn't really a cycle either, but an option to change between them. Which is what I was referring to. The option to do that in every, or at least most of the worlds would be neat.

I meant literally scripted as in a screenplay

The script an actor reads from to know what they should say or do in a scene.

i meant a script that simulates cycle as long as story script does not force a specific time of day
you know how gameflow works in kh3? it could start running in the last gameflow point where its not really needed anymore

No, I know what you meant. But it seemed like you thought I meant "scripted" as in programmed in the game's code. Which it obviously was, but it was hard-programmed to happen at a specific point in the game, hence it follows a physical script.

and then there is the case of the opposite where you're given the mystery of Kh2 opening and the org and then Days fills in the blanks/adds flavor
