I've had a theory for a while: When MoM says his name wasn't there a small flash of light that went along side the audio being drowned out? That leads me to think that his name is literally something "Light" related, which could also potentially give a reason to why the MoM has such a hatred for Darkness.

Also, how would people feel if Sora was a Super Boss in a future spin-off title? Like in Verum Rex (if that ever gets made).

i think MoM being the pure “light” is just anti Darkness. but in fact, when there’s light, darkness exist. i feel like somehow in KH 4 sora will begin to accept that, but MoM wants to use sora to totally destroy the darkness and make light the only existence

In my own headcanon jf your nobody grows a heart before you're recompleted and then they die, their heart gets kind of absorbed into yours

I think xion and Roxas being released from sora were special cases

hearts do relate to memory yes. the reason roxas awoke with no memories unlike most other nobodies is because kairi "healed" sora's shadow form, which normally would have siphoned his memories over to the body but bc sora was still sentient it never did

as for vens heart, it was dormant/healing so no memories were retained by sora while it was in his body
