So picking up where I left off in

I think KH3 did a lot to try and progress the series forward, without focusing enough on concluding things between certain characters

Having basically every secret report in kh3 be a little teaser trailer for the next KH game was nice, but also a wasted opportunity to explain more about the powers and elements to used in kh3 itself

There's a message from Nomura in either the Character Files or the 3 Ultimania but he says something like

"A lot of thought and emotion went into this story, and hopefully my feelings will be conveyed by the end of it."

And man, playing KH3 my read of the game was

"This dude is sooooo over this saga lmao homie wants to get to Master of Masters and get to him nOW."

I feel like he felt constrained by this Dark Seeker Saga in a way in terms of the story he wanted to tell

But remind at the very least fixed a lot of my gripes

I respect the way remind was a big old bandage on the gaping maw that was kh3 base version, but It was virtually impossible for them to fix some of the damage that had been done

People often say the Disney worlds and filler and don't matter and I always say "no they're actually always very relevant to the story of that game usually" and 3 is not different, but

While most of the worlds in KH3 were not just movie retelling and did original stuff, like in 1, it really was just killing time til the Keyblade graveyard lol

Only after Sora knows a lot about what the organizations plan is do they start trying to kill him.
